A try has finally been scored at Canberra Stadium tonight, with ACT Brumbies lock Sam Carter bursting through a gaping hole from 20 metres out to dive under the posts.
The Brumbies had been pressinbg hard against the Durban Sharks' goalline defence, and finally broke through for a try after 66 minutes of play.
The try came just a couple of phases after fullback Jesse Mogg made a break down the right hand edge before being taken to ground.
Given the scrappiness of the contest, the try, which was also converted by Christian lealiifano, would likely put the Brumbies ahead to defeat Super Rugby's overall leader at the moment and retain second overall in te standings.
At writing, 13 minutes remained in the fixture.
